   Light Conference : International Conference on Micro/Nano Optical Engineering (ICOME-T2016)

 Light Conference International Conference on Micro/Nano Optical Engineering (ICOME2014) was held in Changchun, China in July, 2014. This conference brings together international leading experts with top scientists, young researchers, and students working in Micro/Nano optics. 

 

  2015 is the International Year of Light. The International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies, 2016 (IYL 2016) commemorates the achievements of light science and its applications, and its contributions to humankind. The resolution A/RES/68/221 proclaiming the IYL 2015 was adopted without vote on 20 December 2013 during a plenary meeting of the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly, with the General Assembly acting on the recommendation of its Second Committee (Economic and Financial) during consideration of an Agenda item on Science and Technology for Development.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   The ICOME-T conference will be an international English-language event. Presentations are by invitation only, and poster presentations are planned for other attendees. The conference will not only provide a venue for in-depth scientific discussion but also an opportunity for finding potential new project partners, new forms of scientific collaboration and funding sources. Last but not least, this conference is organized by journal "Light : Science and Applications" (LSA). 

Topics of particular interest within the scope include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

Small-scale optics, Optical material processing, Biophotonics and optics for biological and medical devices, Photovoltaics and solar energy, Nonlinear optics, Optoelectronic devices, Optical data transmission, Optical measurement, Optical materials, Manufacture of optical elements, Organic Optoelectronics, Guided Light

 

   The primary objective of this conference is to create a forum for scientists in Micro/Nano optics from universities and research institutions worldwide to present their latest research results in Micro/Nano optics, and to provide a networking platform for the Micro/Nano optics community to develop a roadmap for research and development in the future. 15 internationally well-recognized experts are invited to present their state-of-the-art work on various aspects in the rapidly growing Micro/Nano optics area. The conference will not only provide a venue for an in-depth scientific exchange, but also an opportunity to find potential collaborations and funding sources internationally.We would like to express our gratitude to all invited speakers, researchers, and students for your participation and involvement.
